Tutoring & Small Groups

Literacy & Mathematics Support (Ages K–2)

Our Tutoring & Small Group Instruction program provides targeted academic support for early learners who need reinforcement, challenge, or confidence-building in reading and mathematics.

This program is designed for families who want thoughtful instruction without the pressure or chaos of traditional tutoring centers.

Who This Program Is For

This program is well-suited for:

  • Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade

  • Early readers who need stronger decoding and fluency skills

  • Students who understand concepts but struggle with application

  • Homeschooling families seeking structured academic support

  • Children who benefit from small groups and calm instruction

Group sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure attention, feedback, and real progress.

Schedule & Format

Program Format

  • Small group instruction (maximum 4–6 children per group)

  • Literacy and math sessions offered 2–3 days per week

  • 60–90 minute sessions depending on age and instructional need

Sessions are structured, predictable, and paced to meet children where they are—without rushing or overwhelming them.

A detailed session schedule is shared with families prior to enrollment.

Instructional Focus

Literacy

  • Phonics and decoding

  • Reading fluency and comprehension

  • Vocabulary development

  • Written expression and handwriting support

Mathematics

  • Number sense and place value

  • Addition and subtraction strategies

  • Early multiplication concepts (as appropriate)

  • Problem-solving and reasoning

Instruction emphasizes understanding first, followed by practice and application.

Our Approach

We do not rely on worksheets alone or quick fixes.

Our tutoring approach is:

  • Structured, not rigid

  • Supportive, not permissive

  • Challenging, not overwhelming

Children are guided to think, explain, and apply, building independence and academic confidence over time.

Tuition & Enrollment

Pricing varies based on session length and frequency.

  • Small group rates are provided after a brief placement conversation

  • Priority enrollment is given to families aligned with our instructional philosophy

  • Limited availability to maintain quality and consistency

This program is offered during the academic year, with select summer sessions available as part of seasonal programming.
