VHLA is launching in the first quarter of 2019 with our first location on Highway 401/ Louisburg Road, close to Rolesville in Wake County North Carolina. The preparations are coming along!

This is the view as you walk into the daycare from it’s main entrance. We converted our two car garage, added a half-bath, and a food preparation sink.
The food prep sink backs up to the newly installed bathroom. It’s much more economical to place the water sources back to back to reduce plumbing expenses and costs. On the back wall is the daycare double door (black) refrigerator. I love this plan of having a dedicated space to run my family child care home business.
I love including greenery in the child care space. The arrangements on the shelf are from my back yard and will last for a couple of weeks. They help create a peaceful and joyful environment for parent interviews.
I tucked my desk behind a learning center shelf and a couch. The little ones will not be able to access. I arranged a moveable wall in the corner that makes it easy for ME to access. This is where I’ll keep my files, forms, and documentation that is not required to be posted on the wall.
